Wellington College is one of the world’s leading co-educational boarding and day schools and has an enviable reputation for excellence and innovation. We are currently looking a well-organised and self-motivated individual to join the College as an Educational Grants Coordinator.

An interesting role within a newly created sub-department of our Educational Partnerships department, we’ll rely on you to create a framework for an educational grants programme. You’ll also be responsible for designing policies and procedures for the submission and adjudication between bids, establishing a decision-making panel and sourcing grant applications and assessing them with that panel. Administering grants being made, monitoring grant implementations and assessing their impact will be important too, as will reporting on impact to Trustees and others to build support for the programme and learn for future grant rounds.

To succeed, you’ll need relevant experience in grant making, ideally from the perspective of the grantor, but potentially also as grantee. You’ll also need a proven ability to work with a fair degree of autonomy and self-direction, as well as part of a team, plus excellent numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail. The communication skills it takes to enable effective dialogue with colleagues, staff, visitors and, where applicable, pupils, are required too, as is a track record of meeting targets and deadlines. Tactful and discreet, whilst mindful of observing safeguarding and professional standards, you’re smart in appearance, a great problem solver, enthusiastic about learning new skills and committed to further developing personally.

So, if you have all of the above and are adaptable and flexible to working hours when required and keen to contribute positively to the College community, apply today.
